Not sure about you, friend, but during the holidays we can tend to get … let’s just say … SIDETRACKED. So many obligations, so little time – and LOTS of food paired with less exercise. The good news is, that doesn’t have to be a reality. With a little planning and a lot of determination, you can and you will emerge victorious while improving your health.
In today’s post, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite strategies that have helped us and countless clients during the holidays and beyond. Check them out, and get ready to THRIVE this holiday season – not just survive – you deserve it!
Stress Management Tips
Does it feel like the holidays amplify your stress levels? You can enjoy the season without feeling like a nervous breakdown is right around the corner, and self-care is the name of the game. In today’s post, we’re sharing our top tips for a stress-free holiday season!
How To Navigate Holiday Parties
The holidays are always an interesting time of year. While the time with loved ones and a reminder to be thankful and give more than we receive is a common theme, there’s also a good amount of stress and social gatherings to attend which can start to derail our hard work. Thankfully, this doesn’t have to be your reality.
Tips For A Guilt Free Thanksgiving
Let’s be real. Pretty much everyone indulges during the holidays. Be it the merry traditions, peer pressure or the delicious smell of family favorites wafting from the kitchen, we understand that sticking to your clean eating plan can feel doomed from the start and cause anxiety. Let us tame that unrest by reminding you that you’re human and if you choose not to follow your clean eating plan 100% this Thanksgiving, it’s okay.
Are You Addicted to STRESS? By Christina Sanghera
It’s time we talk about the elephant in the room, darlin: your addiction to STRESS! Does withdrawing from a stressful state feel like a completely foreign thing? Do you feel like you’ve identified with your stress for so long that it’s the only way you know how to live?
How To Stay Motivated
Motivation. We hear about, we’re told that we need to have it, but in the end, we feel deflated when we can’t seem to make it stick around. Lucky for you, we’re always thinking of ways to make healthy living EASIER, more ENJOYABLE and full of self-improvement opportunities.
How To Follow Your Nutrition Plan Even When People Pressure You
We’ve all been there. You’re working hard to make better decisions with your nutrition. You’re meal prepping, feeling great and following a plan that is nutrient dense and works really well for you. Then, boom … your first social gathering with friends and/or family.
Why We “Fall Off The Wagon” (and how to fix it)
Picture this. You’ve conquered clean eating, exercise, and mindfulness. You’re feeling like a rockstar and then some. Like you could take on the world, no problem. Then … LIFE happens and, let’s be honest, gets in the way. Sigh. Something derails you, or maybe someone. Whatever the reason, you slowly find yourself back at “square one” having “fallen off the wagon”.

What a great round up for the holidays! The stress addiction sounds especially interesting!!!
Thank you for these great tips! We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Europe but Christmas is just around the corner and that’s kind of similar …
Brilliant ideas, Christina!! Thank you so much for sharing. It is so easy to fall off the bandwagon during the holiday season – but there is no reason you can’t have fun and stay healthy!!
This is so true… my unhealthiness started with Halloween and I’m already wondering what I will do for the upcoming holidays. i am going to try to work on the staying motivated like you wrote about. Thanks for sharing.
Great ideas for a healthy living. Always the season are difficult for eating properly.
Holiday foods can be high in calories and low on the nutrition you need to battle germs and boost energy. Make it a priority to eat five or more fruits and vegetables a day (choose the whole fruit instead of juice so you feel full longer and avoid added sugar). … And don’t give your exercise routine a holiday.
I love that you mentioned it’s ok to indulge during the holidays. So many of us feel guilty for it, it’s all about a balance.
Nice post and I am having a good read with this article. There a lot of food during holidays seasons and for me it is okay to indulge on the food and remember to take it in balance.
this is a great post so many people tend to slack off during the holidays. but youre right, indulging a bit is ok too
I love reading post such as this as it reminds me to stop and listen to my body and do healthy things. Sometimes because life rushes us too much, we forget to think about being well and healthy especially during the Holiday periods
This is a great post! It is hard to stay healthy with all of the Holiday goodies!
Great post! A good reminder to slow down and listen to what our bodies and minds need!
We always fall off the wagon at Christmas time! It’s the one time of year that you can really let you hair down!
Thanks for the reminder that I’m human. This is a great reminder to enjoy the holidays and think about ways to maybe add in some exercise as a tradition too!
Some very helpful tips for those that want to stay fit, active and healthy during the holiday season. Personally I’ll be taking some time out to relax, not have to work and enjoy time with my family 🙂 x
Such great information to have, right in time for the holidays that are coming up too!
