What’s your favorite wellness quote?
“You are very powerful, provided you know how powerful you are.” – Yogi Bhajan

What are some of your favorite exercises?
Deadlifts of any kind are my favorite, cleans are fun, and roundhouse kicks make me feel oh so strong!

What motivates you to stay healthy?
Having sustained major injuries that were so painful that I fell into a depression, I knew that the only way out was to start improving my physical health – the mental health would follow suit. I want to be the best me that I can be for myself and for those around me.

What do you do to stay balanced in your daily life (hobbies)?
I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes lately. Aside from cooking, I’ll spend my spare time watching vlogs, listening to the radio, and dancing (albeit dancing around my kitchen).

If this food/meal were the last available on Earth and you were the lucky recipient, what would it be?
An XL bowl of phở with all the works and maybe some wontons thrown in.

What are three of your upcoming goals NOW, in one year and in five years?
Now: Spend less money on eating out. In one year: Attain a healthy weight and a healthy fat-to-muscle ratio. In five years: Be regularly practicing some form of martial arts.

What are some songs currently on your playlist?
All of Ariana Grande’s new album, Sweetener. Great tracks to run to or keep me awake on the afternoon commute.

What do you do for fun locally?
I regularly practice the art of window shopping. Love to browse through little shops for fun.

Describe yourself in 3 words:
Strategic, goofy, and supportive.

How has Inspired Wellness impacted your life?
I’ve found a community at IW that makes me feel like my health goals are within reach. I stopped comparing my fitness journey to that of others, because I learned that IW was a place for all people at all fitness levels, with each individual on a unique path toward wellness.
