This week, we’re sharing three of our favorite go-to morning ritual smoothies courtesy of our friends at Vega® HQ. Not only do they taste delicious, they also pack a 1-2 punch in the nutrition department. Raspberry Lime Smoothie
1 cup of canned coconut milk, or unsweetened almond milk
Juice of 1/2 of a lime (about 1 Tbsp)
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1 ripe banana
1 serving Vanilla or Natural Vega® Protein & Greens
Cashew Creme Brulee
1 scoop Vanilla Vega® One Nutritional Shake
1 cup almond milk
1 banana (frozen if possible)
1 pitted date or 3-4 drops Stevia
1 tsp vanilla extract
10 full cashews
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
5-6 ice cubes
Green Monster Smoothie
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup baby spinach or kale
1 frozen organic banana
1 serving Vanilla Vega Sport® Performance Protein

I like that last one with the greens. I usually add frozen berries of some sort to try to thicken it up. I tried using a whole banana recently but it was too much sugar I think when combined with the other fruit I used and it made me queasy. I owe that to IW, I used to be addicted to sweets and now can’t handle much sugar! Thank you guys for being so freaking awesome!

The Green Monster is very similar to my “go to” smoothie recipe and is a great way to start the day.
Some additive options:
Chia Seeds
Flax Meal
Almonds
Avocado
Actually have not tried any. So excited to start making some smoothies.
I love using:
Baby Spinach,Kale, Chard
Avocado
Blueberries
Almond Milk
Beet
Vega protein!
My favorite ingredients include almond milk, almond butter, and ice or half of a frozen banana!

I always add 1/4 of an avocado to my smoothie for good healthy fats. My favorite is a almond milk (also great with cashew milk) frozen cherries, spinach and a little cacao. Yum!
